  • Day 1: Busan tour

    Stop At: Busan Gamcheon Culture Village, 203, Gamnae 2-ro, Saha-gu, Busan 49368 South Korea
    After a pick-up from your hotel at 9:00 AM, you will head to Gamcheon Culture Village and Sky garden.

    Consisted of houses built in staircase-fashion on the foothills of a coastal mountain, this village was originally made by war refugees for their settlement. In 2000's, the city government of Busan launched maintenance and revitalization project in the area, bringing vibrant murals and sculptures into the meandering alleys of the town. The success of the city projects earned this village the nickname 'Machu Picchu of Busan.'

    Stop At: Songdo Cable Car, Songdokeibeulka 171 Songdohaebyeon-ro, Busan 49269 South Korea
    Songdo cable car is one of the most popular facilities in Songdo beach and what made Songdo beach popular as it is now. Being Korea's first cable car, it was kept closed for 29 years due to environmental reasons from 1988 to 2002. It has reopened in June 2017. It has a total length of 1.62km and is located 86 meters above sea level.

    You will be met by a panoramic view from the cable car. Look at beautiful views of nature and fishing boats as well as lovely and interesting art work and community crafts on the other side.

    In case of bad weather, you will be taken to Huinnyeoul Culture Village or Fiddle art Village instead.

    You will head to Yongdusan park. In the serene atmosphere of the place, you could listen to birds chirping in the daytime! Also, this place would be a must-visit if you're really interested of the traditional Korean architectures. A good number of shrines can be seen around the Park.

    Inside Yongdusan Park is Busan Tower. Busan Tower is one of the most famous landmarks in Busan. You can see the entire metropolis glimmering below as you walk around the top deck.

    Following the Korean War, refugees who fled to Busan set up stalls in order to make a living. Shops in Gukje Market sell an assortment of new and used items. Since vendors deal in both wholesale and retail sales, the average customer can purchase various items at incredibly inexpensive prices.

    Stop At: Bupyeong Kkangtong Market, 32, Junggu-ro 33beon-gil, Jung-gu, Busan 48977 South Korea
    Across from Gukje Market is Bupyeong Market. It’s often referred to as Kkangtong Market (kkangtong meaning ‘cans’ in Korean) since canned goods used to be the market’s primary type of merchandise. Nowadays, of course, Bupyeong Market sells virtually everything from domestic to imported goods.

    Stop At: BIFF Square, Nampo-dong, Jung-gu, Busan South Korea
    BIFF Square is the main venue of Busan International Film Festival(BIFF). It is a unique place where numerous film theaters are gathered in a single district, and it is also a well-known street food heaven. For the youth living in Busan, it is an ever-crowded place to enjoy a variety of leisure facilities. Handprints and footprints of Korean film stars fill up the floors of its streets.

    Stop At: Jagalchi Market, Nampo-dong, Jung-gu, Busan South Korea
    As one of the biggest sea-ports in South Korea, Busan boasts an array of best seafood dishes. Jagalchi market is the most famous seafood market from entire Korea. The common scene in the market is comprised of mostly elderly women selling mackerel, sea squirts and whale meat on wooden boxes along the road outside of the market and along the shore.

    You can see its lively sellers yelling their bargains and bargain at once. You can try some seafood like squid, octopus, crab, mussels and prawns. After the sightseeing, your guide will drop you off at your hotel. (*Accommodation is not included)

    Day 2: Busan - Seoul

    Stop At: Yonggungsa Temple, 199-1, Unnam-ro, Jung-gu Yeongjongdo Island, Incheon 22359 South Korea

    Haedong Yonggungsa Temple is situated on the coast of north-eastern Busan. While most temples in Korea are located in the mountains, this temple has found its charming location along the shore line. The main sanctuary of the temple was reconstructed in 1970 with careful attention paid to the colors that were traditionally used in such structures.

    On the right-hand side, inside the a cave, is a uniquely designed Buddhist sanctum. Other special sites at the temple are four lion statues, the 108 stairs, and stone lanterns lining the rocky landscape. Midway down the 108 steps one can pause and enjoy the calming sounds of the waves, and view the majestic sunrise.

    Stop At: Busan Bon DaVinci Square, 725 Sirang-ri, Gijang-eup, Gijang, Busan, South Korea
    Busan isn’t all about beaches and seafood. In fact, the city boasts a nice variety of museums and art galleries where you can discover a wealth of artifacts and exhibitions. Bon Davinci Art Museum is one of the unique exhibition centers in Busan.

    Stop At: Dongbaekseom Island, U-dong, Haeundae-gu, Busan South Korea
    It used to be an island, but now is a part of the mainland. The Island is known for a trail walk course from Haeundae Beach, where one can enjoy walking on a wooden deck through seaside rocks standing against waves. It is a place abloom with camellia flowers in the winter. A statue based on the legend of a mermaid Princess sits by the ocean.

    Stop At: 누리마루 APEC하우스, 116 Dongbaek-ro, U 1(il)-dong, Haeundae, Busan, South Korea
    Nurimaru APEC House on Dongbaekseom Island has been used as a memorial hall and a prestigious international conference hall since the 2005 APEC summit meeting.
    Duration: 30 minutes

    Stop At: Oryukdo Skywalk, 137, Oryukdo-ro, Nam-gu, Busan 48594 South Korea
    You will be thrilled by the view of the ocean waves as you look down through the transparent floor of this sky-walk. The ocean view stretching out further makes a perfect picture spot, and it is the best place to see Japanese Daemado Island on sunny days.

    Stop At: UN Memorial Cemetery, 93, UN pyeonghwa-ro, Nam-gu, Busan 48529 South Korea
    If you are a history buff, you will enjoy this place. Korean war was the only war in history where United Nations was involved together. This modest piece of land owned by the U.N. is a burial ground for United Nations Command(UNC) casualties of the Korean War. It contains 2,300 graves and is the only United Nations cemetery in the world.
