Day 1: HD Montevideo City Tour

Montevideo is the capital and most
populated city of Uruguay. It is also the
administrative headquarters of the
MERCOSUR. It has its coastline on the
Rio de la Plata (River Plate) and boasts an
ideal bay that forms a natural harbor. It
provides all kinds of cultural, gastronomic
and entertainment attractions as well as
outdoor walks along its rambla, squares,
parks and historical buildings. The tour
shows the most spectacular landmarks of the city: Plaza Independencia, Executive Tower where
the offices of the President of the Republic are located, Palacio Salvo, the Solís Theater, Port
Market, Agricultural Market, the Legislative Palace home of the legislative branch, the
Constituency Obelisk of 1830, the Estadio Centenario and much more. Along the United Nation’s
promenade we start the way back to downtown going through Punta Gorda and stopping in
Plaza Virgilio where you’ll get one of the most spectacular panoramic views of the coast

Day 2: FD Punta del Este

Stop At: Colonia del Sacramento, Colonia del Sacramento, Colonia Department
Punta del Este.You will have the
privilege of visiting the most European
resort throughout Latin America.
Sumptuousness, modernism, beautiful
beaches and natural landscapes are
associated with the heat and the sun
which characterize the Uruguayan
people.
During this tour you will visit the most
emblematic sites of the summer resort:
Hotel Casino Conrad, the main street
is named after the famous General
Gorlero, the marina, where you can see luxury boats and sea lions following fishermen.
In the historic center of the peninsula is the church "Nuestra Señora de la Candelaria" , the
superb Lighthouse, the southern part of the peninsula known as the " Corner 4 Seas" and finally
the Plaza Gran Bretaña (Great Britain square) where is located geographically the line between
Rio de la Plata and the Atlantic Ocean.
You will follow thereafter the ''Rambla Costanera'' (sea promenade) where you can enjoy the
clarity of the calm waters of the Rio de la Plata joining the roughest waters of the Atlantic Ocean
and finally reach the monument ‘’Los Dedos’’ made by the Chilean artist Mario Irrazabal. We will
continue this trip to Lionel Viera Wavy Bridge located between Punta del Este and La Barra de
Maldonado through the residential area of San Rafael.
On the way back we pass the Beverly Hills neighborhood where you can admire the different
architectural styles of the most expensive mansions of Punta del Este where some millionaires
from all around the world have their second residence.
To finish this tour we will
take you to Punta Ballena
where is the Art workshop
and the museum of the
famous Uruguayan artist
Carlos Paez Vilaro: La
Casa Pueblo, where you
will enjoy the sunset with a
fresh glass of Champagne
