3 Days Private Weekend at the Edge of the Arctic incl Kayaking

Your weekend at the Edge of the Arctic - An unique experience!

The vastness of the sea with thousands of birds breeding on the breathtaking cliffs, an abandoned radar station of the Americans and a deserted fishing village. On the north side of the 40km long peninsula, which stretches into the Atlantic Ocean between Bakkaflói and thistilfjördur, there is breathtaking nature to discover.

Depending on the weather and wind situation we will heading to the south till the farm of Sætun and back or along the low cliffs to the north.
While we paddle along the coast, we see different sea birds, fish and if we are lucky also some seals.

Enjoy the view of the seemingly endless expanse of the North Atlantic and Arctic Oceans. Watch thousands of birds taking shelter in the plunging cliffs and watch out for the sheep that roam free all over the peninsula. A highlight is a new viewing platform for observing the bird cliffs on Langanes.
