Stop At: Santa Maria, Santa Maria, Cusco Region

The Inca Jungle Trek tour begins at 7; 00 am. Sit back and enjoy the spectacular scenery as you drive over 4,200 meters above sea level to the top of Abra Malaga. Take a deep breath, put on the provided protective gear and enjoy the majestic mountain before hitting the pavement on new mountain bikes. Feel the wind whip you as you ride winding mountain roads, waterfalls, mountain towns, and occasionally road dogs. Almost three hours and a 2,000-meter nudist excitement takes you to the lunch stop in Alfamayo. Take off the layers and apply insect repellent as you enter the pre-jungle climate. After lunch and some time to relax (so that the afternoon heat melts away), a short van ride takes you to the start of your first short hike. About 10 minutes of jungle penetration takes you to your accommodation at night. Our hostel offers the perfect backdrop to recover from the walk and tell the excitement of the day. Be on the lookout for the family mongoose and parrot!
In the afternoon Extreme rafting on the Vilcanota river.
    Night in Hotel Santa Maria

    Duration: 10 hours

Stop At: Santa Teresa, Santa Teresa, Sacred Valley, Cusco Region

An awakening at 7 am finds you enveloped in the mists of the jungle. After a hearty breakfast, your day begins with a short but intense climb to begin your section of an authentic Inca Trail. As you climb up and down precipitous cliffs over an impressive valley, your guide will transport you back to the time of the Incas, revealing some of what little we know of this amazing and ancient culture. The trail descends to Quellomayo, where the group will stop for lunch and have time to relax in the hammocks. Be on the lookout for natural fruit, especially the flavor explosion that is passion fruit. After lunch, the hike continues along the Urubamba River, crossing at one point on a cart and pulley (sure but exciting!). Your trekking day (around 16 km) ends with a visit to the immaculate thermal waters of Santa Teresa. Soak in the warm water and let the pains of the trail melt away. Dinner and a comfortable hostel in Santa Teresa complete the day.

    Duration: 8 hours

Stop At: Aguas Calientes, Aguas Calientes, Machu Picchu, Sacred Valley, Cusco Region

A choice awaits at the beginning of the third day: continue trekking or choose to fly through the air 150 meters above the ground over rivers and jungle! The zip line option includes transportation to the zip line facility and 5 zippers. Are you brave enough to lie in the monkey position backwards? Or spread your wings and dive into the amazing superman position first. Be sure to reserve your zipline in advance to ensure the safest, tallest, and fastest zippers (there are several other lower quality zip tours). The group will form at the Hydroelectric station for lunch before continuing the trek. Another three hours of walking along the train tracks and the raging river take you to the tourist town of Aguas Calientes. Travelers have the option to visit the local hot springs or relax and explore the city before dinner. Make sure to arrive early at night to stay awake for the ascent to the gem of the tour: Machu Picchu!

    Duration: 5 hours

Stop At: Santuario Historico de Machu Picchu, Machu Picchu Peru

Your ascent to Machu Picchu begins before the sun rises. Ascent step by step for about an hour up the Inca staircase to the ancient lost fortress of Machu Picchu. A 2-hour guided tour reveals mysteries and asks questions about how the Incas lived and how they were able to accomplish such wonderful feats of engineering. After the tour, you have the option of climbing Huayna Picchu or Machu Picchu mountain to enjoy an even more incredible view of the ruins and cliffs of the Andes. Take your time to explore the wonderful ruins and get that perfect picture before heading back to Aguas Calientes. Your return time to Cusco will depend on the transportation option or the return train you select.
Huayna Picchu is the mountain located in the extreme northwest of the ruins and Machu Picchu mountain is in the extreme southwest. Huayna Picchu is steeper but more popular and has some interesting archaeological ruins on top. Machu Picchu Mountain is a longer, less steep, and less crowded hike, and offers great views of Machu Picchu. Check this incredible link to see the views of the Huayna Picchu mountain and the Machu Picchu mountain.
