Day 1: The Central Balkan Range
Stop At: Municipality Koprivshtitsa, Koprivshtitsa, Lyuben Karavelov St 16, 2077 Средна махала, Koprivshtitsa, Bulgaria
In the morning your guide will pick you up from your hotel/accommodation in Sofia or from Sofia airport and the journey begins. We will drive on one of the most beautiful and scenic roads in Bulgaria. Our first stop will be a place of respect to the Bulgarians heroes from the struggle against the Ottomans, which has a wonderful view to the Central Balkan mountain. After that, we will visit an architectural reserve called Koprivshtica, with its amazing buildings from the late 18th and 19th century. It is like a time machine because it is perfectly preserved. You will learn a lot for our Revival period and uprisings against the foreign rule. We will have lunch in a traditional Bulgarian restaurant.

Our journey will continue toward the place where we will overnight- chateau Copsa, with it’s very good restaurant. You will be able to taste the wines that they are making and enjoy the nature around the place.

Day 2: The Rose Valley
Stop At: Municipality Kazanlak, bul. "Rozova dolina" 6, 6100 Kaliakchiyski, Kazanlak, Bulgaria
After breakfast, we will check out and continue our trip. Our stop will be the capital of the Rose valley – Kazanlak. We will visit the museum of Rose production, where you will learn about the process of making this precious oil. After that, you will be introduced to the history of the Thracians and the heritage which they have bequeathed to us from the Antiquity. We will visit one royal tomb from IV century BC, which is part of the UNESCO World Heritage List.

Stop At: Shipka Memorial Church, 6150 Shipka, Bulgaria
The building is dedicated to those soldiers—Russian, Ukrainian, and Bulgarian—who lost their lives fighting to free Bulgaria in the Russo-Turkish War from 1877-78

Our final stop will be Tryavna, a town from the Revival period, where we will overnight and enjoy the authentic atmosphere.

Day 3: The Medieval Capital
Stop At: Veliko Tarnovo municipality, pl. "Mayka Bulgaria" 2, 5000 Veliko Tarnovo Center, Veliko Tarnovo, Bulgaria
This day is dedicated to the exploration of the city of Veliko Tarnovo. First, we will visit the main Medieval Fortress, then we will move in time and see the development of trade streets and craftsmen’s workshops from 18th – 19th century. We will visit a monastery outside of the city with amazing view and paintings then we will explore the hill of Arbanasi, where we will have lunch and a nice walk around the old houses. Then we will go back to Veliko Tarnovo and you will have a relaxed afternoon.

Day 4: Danube valley
Stop At: Nicopolis ad Istrum, E85 Veliko Tarnovo to Ruse Road near Nikyup Village, Veliko Tarnovo 5000 Bulgaria
After breakfast, our journey will continue north. Our first stop will be one of the best-preserved Roman cities in Bulgaria.
The remains of a cannonade, a small theater, public buildings, and shops were found around the central square – the agora. There were also public baths, and the remains of floor heating in some of the buildings had been found. There are suppositions that there was even a heated path for walks during the winter.

Stop At: Rock-Hewn Churches of Ivanovo, 7088 Ivanovo, Bulgaria
Our next site will be a bridge from the middle of the 19th century, built by a very interesting and famous Bulgarian architect. The plan for the day is a visit to a beautiful cave. Then we will get back in the Middle Ages by visiting another UNESCO site – Ivanovo cliff monastery – an example of 14th-century Bulgarian art with a beautiful view of nature.

Our next stop will be the place, where we will overnight – chateau Seven generations, situated close to the Danube river. You can have a good massage and a great dinner at the restaurant, enjoying the nice view of the Danube. This chateau is producing wonderful wines, which you can taste.

Day 5: The Small Vienna
Stop At: "Anna Palace", ul. "Knyazheska" 4, 7000 Ruse Center, Ruse, Bulgaria
After a good breakfast, we will have a short drive to Ruse – the most beautiful city on the Danube river, called in the 19th century the small Vienna. We will visit the Regional History Museum, the city’s pedestrian boulevard to enjoy the monumental architecture, the river site alley, the National Museum of transport, and much more. In the evening you will have dinner in the old Ottoman fortress, guarding the Danube, where you can taste some of the good regional wines. We will overnight in the city’s historic center.

Day 6: Going back to Sofia
Stop At: Krushunskiye Waterfalls, P.O.Box 226, 5500 Lovech, Krushuna Bulgaria
After breakfast, we will start our journey back to Sofia. On the way we will visit one of the most beautiful waterfalls – Krushuna falls.

Stop At: Devetashka Cave, Devetaki 5500 Bulgaria
We will also visit a cave – Devetaki cave, which was used during the cold war for secret fuel storage and nowadays it is a movie site (Expendables II was shot there).

Stop At: The Covered Bridge, Osam River, Lovech 5500 Bulgaria
After that we will stop in a town called Lovech, to see the famous covered bridge, medieval fortress and a lot of old beautiful houses. We will have our lunch there and we will continue back to the capital.
