6-Days Tour of South Albania
Tirana- visit of the National Archaeological Museum, the Scanderbeg Square, a walk in the “Taiwan Park” and “Deshmoret e Kombit” boulevard where you can see the Pyramid of Enver Hoxha, as well as a visit to the Enver Hoxha’s bunker.
Vlora-Orikum-visit to the city of Vlora and than will proceed along the coastal road to the Roman excavations of Orikum within the former Albanian naval military base called "Pashaliman" which is now a NATO base immersed in the beautiful lagoon (with document input ID)
Llogara-a visit to the National Park at about 1000m.
Saranda- visit to the site of Butrint, the Albanian archeological buttonhole flower.
Gjirokaster (the birth-city of dictator Hoxha and the writer Ismail Kadare)-visit to the castle and to the armaments of the Museum,
A short stop to Tepelene and than visit of the city of Berat (special status of UNESCO constraint) the old, historic part of the city and the Onufri museum.

- Day 1 - Arrival at the "Mother Teresa" international airport and transfer to hotel in Vlora (it is the town where the Albanian independence from the Ottomans was proclaimed on 28 November 1912). Welcome dinner, and the program explanation of the day to follow.
Day 2 - Departure in the morning to Saranda. Stop to the Roman excavations of Orikum (Oricum) within the former Albanian military base, which is now a NATO naval base.
In continuation a visit to the National Park of Llogora at about mt.1000. Llogara has always been a popular vacation area for the Albanians, and very popular with tourists from northern Europe.From there you can enjoy a spectacular view of the mountains and the Ionian Albanian Riviera. A short stop, weather permitting, in the seaside village of Dhermi. Arrival at the hotel in Saranda in the evening and dinner in restaurant.
Day 3 - Drive to the site of Butrint, the Albanian archeological buttonhole flower. Butrint dates back to the 7th century BC and according to Virgil it was founded by Helenus, the son of the Trojan King Priam. The Greeks made Butrint a major fortified commercial city (the acropolis ruins are still visible). Its fortification from the 6th century BC evokes all the military power of the city and is a symbol of a rich culture and an important and flourishing city. It then became an important Roman colony. Later it fell under the dominion of the Venetians and Turks lost over the centuries its importance began to decline. The city (partly excavated only) is a very important microcosm of almost 3,000 years of Mediterranean history. The visit to the site of Butrint is provided with an official guide of the archaeological site and it takes about two hours, including a visit to the precious antiquarium (museum). After lunch will depart for Gjirokastra (Gjirokastër). City tour, visit to the castle and to the armaments of the Museum. Overnight in Gjirokastra. Dinner in restaurant.
Day 4 - Departure from Gjirokastra, and heading to Durres, with a visit of the city of Berat (special status of UNESCO constraint). Visit to the old, historic part of the city and the Onufri museum housed in the "Dormition of the Virgin Mary ancient Orthodox Cathedral". Arrival in Durres in the late afternoon and accommodation at the hotel. Dinner in restaurant.
Day 5 - Day Visit of the city, including visits to Tirana Skanderbeg Square, the Mosque of Ethem Bey, the Clock Tower, the National Museum full of ancient relics from the Stone Age to the Middle Ages. Visit the underground anti-atomic Bunker of the dictator Enver Hoxha.
Return in the evening in Durres hotel and dinner in restaurant.
Day 6 – Departure for the "Nene Teresa" airport for return.
