9-Day Ecuadorian Coast Tour Including Isla de la Plata from Guayaquil

Day 1: Guayaquil

Evening arrival in the city of Guayaquil. Transfer to the hotel.

Overnight in Guayaquil

Day 2: Cacao Farm and Santo Domingo de los Tsáchilas (B,L,D)

In the morning visit a Cacao Farm and learn about the process of cacao and chocolate.

In the afternoon transfer to the Cloud Forest.

Day 3: Tsáchila Indigenous Community and Bahía de Caraquez (B,L,D)

Visit the Tsáchila Community where we will learn about their traditions and life style. In the afternoon transfer to Bahia de Caraquez Beach Town.

Day 4: Jopoto Archeological Research and Mangrove Tour (B,L,D)

In the morning visit Jopoto Archeological Research related with one the most important cultures in the history of the Ecuadorian coast. In the afternoon take a Mangrove tour in a motor boat around Isla Corazon.

Overnight and dinner in Bahia de Caraquez

Day 5: Protected Forest Cerro Seco and Paja Toquilla Hut (B,L,D)

In the morning visit Protected Forest Cerro Seco. In the afternoon visit Montecristi Town, the original city of the famous Panama Hut. Overnight and dinner in Puerto Lopez

Day 6: Puerto Lopez and Isla de la Plata (B,L,D)

In the morning visit Isla de la Plata, watch tropical birds and blue-footed booby. In the afternoon enjoy a snorkeling activity.

Day 7: Rio Chico Community and Guayaquil (B,L,D)

In the morning visit Rio Chico Village and the local elementary school. In the afternoon transfer to Guayaquil.

Day 8: City Tour Guayaquil and River Tour (B,D)

Visit “Parque Historico” and learn about the history of Guayaquil. In the afternoon enjoy a city tour of Guayaquil.

In the evening take a tour around the Guayas River.

Day 9: Guayaquil Departure (B)

In the morning check out the hotel. Transfer to the airport.
