"Abruzzo Divino" Vineyards, Culture and Wines: SELF-GUIDED cycling weekend

Day 1: Individual arrival in Roseto degli Abruzzi (TE) with stage up to Castilenti 41 km, altitude difference about 913mt.

Arrival in Roseto degli Abruzzi which at the meeting place and where our ride will begin, at 09:00. Bike trial and briefing with tour explanation.
We will start along the Adriatic coast to reach Pineto, a seaside resort that offers the possibility of enjoying a seascape, surrounded by pine forests on the background of which you can see the expanses of large vineyards. We proceed on a demanding climb towards Mutignano where we will visit the Church of San Silvestro. It continues up to Atri, originally "Hadria", considered one of the oldest Italian cities, an ancient medieval village considered the balcony of the Adriatic with a splendid view from north to south has the pride of having given its name to the Adriatic Sea ( we recommend a visit to the majestic Basilica S. Maria Assunta called "The Sistine Chapel of Abruzzo"). We will continue towards Castilenti, where we will arrive to visit the majestic Palazzo De Sterlich with a visit to the barrel cellar of San Lorenzo Vini, here a tasting will be provided ( Montepulciano and Spumante), arrival at the hotel, dinner with typical Abruzzo dishes in the vineyard.

Day 2: From Castilenti to Montesilvano. 54 km, altitude difference about 747mt.

Stop At: Castilenti, Castilenti, Province of Teramo, Abruzzo
We are going to leave the province of Teramo to arrive in the province of Pescara, through the splendid Pescaresi Hills, sweet and light with a view of the Adriatic Sea on one side and the Majella on the other. You arrive in Penne (club of the most beautiful villages in Italy), after visiting the village, continue on a panoramic road that reaches Collecorvino, in a bucolic landscape designed mainly with vineyards and especially olive trees. Tastings scheduled at Contesa Winery and I Priori estate. We recommend a tasting of local oil along the way .. For those who wish, go up to Città Sant'Angelo (another village among the most beautiful in Italy), or go directly to Montesilvano where the tour ends on the Adriatic Sea. Arrival at the hotel. Dinner.
