Departure at 9:30 AM from Strasbourg to Obernai. Ancient medieval city, very flowery, Obernai still has lovely old houses, as well as ramparts. It is very pleasant to visit Obernai and to stroll through its small streets and on its ramparts while admiring the colorful half-timbered houses.

After that, an essential stop on the wine route, Riquewihr : It's one of the most beautiful villages in Alsace, surrounded by ramparts. The village has preserved all of its architecture since the 13th century, miraculously passing through all the wars. You can admire all the possible variations of half-timbered houses, oriel windows, fountains and old wells. Nicknamed "Pearl of the Alsatian vineyard", the village is surrounded by vineyards and the quality of this vineyard is world renowned.

At last, an essential stop on the wine route, Colmar : Colmar is the capital of the wine route. A must, stop and admire the beauty of this city nicknamed "Little Venice" due to the alignment of the houses on both sides of the river. Nestled in the heart of the Alsatian vineyards and at the gates of Germany and Switzerland, Colmar offers tasty gastronomy, a typically Alsatian atmosphere, renowned wines and of course a unique architecture dating mainly from the Middle Ages to the 18th century.
