Annapurna Ghandruk trek

Ghorepani Ghanrdruk trek is one of the short and sweet trek in Annapurna region. Especially this trek is suitable for those who have short period of time but they have burning desire to see the Himalayas views.

Ghorepani Ghandruk trek in one of the most visiting place in Annapurna region because of varied features in the short period of trekking. This trek is suitable for all level of fitness whether the trekkers are beginners or experienced, children with family or old age seniors. The tea houses are also facilitate with good food and accommodation along the way. Ghorepani Ghandruk trek can do all around the year, however spring and autumn are the best season for the trek.

Poon hill from Ghorepani offers breathtaking views of Mt. fishtail (6,993 m), Annapurna South (7,219 m), Himchuli (6,441 m). The two 8,000m above mountains Dhaulagiri (8,167m) massif and Annapurna I (8,091 m) are the major attractions of this trek.

  • Day 1: Drive to Nayapul. Trek to Ulleri

    Pass By: Naya Pul, Lumle, Nepal
    The trekking guide will pick you in the hotel lobby and the tour departs at 8:00am. Drive to Nayapul by private vehicle which takes approximately 1:30 hours. From Nayapul your trekking starts.

    Stop At: Ulleri, Bhuktangle 33700, Nepal
    On the way to Ulleri, you will reach one beautiful village named Birethanti which has many teahouses with good mountain views. You can take a lunch break by your own and continue the trek following the Burungdi stream. Climb steady up until you reach the Magar village Ulleri. Here, you can find good mountain lodges and meals by your own. Overnight at Ulleri.

    Day 2: Trek Ulleri to Ghorepani

    Stop At: Ghorepani, Ghorepani, Dhaulagiri Zone, Western Region
    Today you will trek to Ghorepani which is one of the beautiful village in this trekking. This village has number of lodges, facilities as well as lots of visitors. Ghorepani is connects the route with Poon Hill and other villages like Tadapani, Karbakeli. Overnight at Ghorepani.

    Day 3: Climb PoonHill. Trek to Tadapani

    Stop At: Poon Hill, Pokhara Nepal
    Early morning, you will climb to Poon Hill (3,210m) before dawn. Enjoy the breathtaking sunrise and panoramic views of Annapurna, Dhaulagiri and Manaslu massifs. After a well spent in Poon Hill, hike back to Ghorapani for the next destination.
    Duration: 3 hours

    Stop At: Tadapani, Ghandruk 33700, Nepal
    After coming back from Poon Hill, have your breakfast and we'll continue the trek around 9AM. On the way to Tadapani, trek through the rhododendron forest and other wilderness species. Overnight at Tadapani.

    Day 4: Trek Tadapani to Ghandruk

    Stop At: Ghandruk, Ghandruk, Gandaki Zone, Western Region
    Today you will reach your last destination at Ghandruk, one of the beautiful Gurung village of Nepal. It is naturally and culturally rich village, observe the village architecture houses, their culture, tradition, etc. If you have enough time, do not forget to visit, Gurung museum which has conserve the cultural values, tradition of Gurung community..

    Day 5: Trek Ghandruk to Nayapul

    Pass By: Naya Pul, Lumle, Nepal
    Enjoy the last day of trekking from Ghandruk to Nayapul where your trek ends.

    Stop At: Pokhara, Pokhara, Gandaki Zone, Western Region
    Drive back to Pokhara via private vehicle.
