    We travel north west to Loch Lomond passing the west side of the Loch and taking in the great views towards Ben Lomond.

    Duration: 30 minutes

    Stop At: Tarbert, Tarbert, Kintyre Peninsula, Argyll and Bute, Scotland

    We pass Tarbert and the Arrochar Alps. The Rest and Be Thankful vantage point on the old Military Road is a great place to stop to take in the stunning scenery.

    After lunch on Loch Fyne we visit Inveraray Castle, the family home of the Duke of Argyll and a place steeped in history.

    We travel north and the east on a loop through Argyll and the southern Highlands, passing Kilchurn Castle on Loch Awe.

    After Tyndrum and Crainlarich we pass Loch Lubnaig in late afternoon and a great place to "skiff" some stones on the water.

    Our final stop on this tour is at the strategic fortress of Stirling Castle, an important place in the chronicles of Scottish History and fought over many times. It was said "whoever controls Stirling Castle controls the country."
