After being picked-up at your Seattle hotel or vacation rental in our Mercedes van, we'll take the scenic Washington State ferry to Bainbridge Island. Enjoy complimentary drinks and pastries as you take in sweeping views of the Seattle skyline and Puget Sound.

Our first stop on Bainbridge Island is the beautifully manicured estate of the wealthy Bloedel family. Prentice and Virginia Bloedel created this 150 acre forested reserve with an eye for conservation and aesthetic beauty. We’ll take a guided nature walk around the property to enjoy the lush gardens and varied landscape.

After lunch, we’ll delve into island history at this National Park Service site, where we’ll learn and reflect upon the local history of Japanese-American internment during World War II.

We’ll spend the afternoon visiting two Bainbridge Island wineries with excellent wine and fun atmospheres. Bainbridge’s wine scene has taken off in recent years and is now filled with friendly down-to-earth producers who have a clear passion for their work. The culture is relaxed, educational, and unpretentious. All tasting fees are included in the tour. For beer lovers, we're happy to substitute a tasting flight at Bainbridge Brewing at our second stop.
