Piazza Venezia was named after the Cardinal Venezia who, in 1455, ordered the construction of his own Palace (Palazzo Venezia) that later became the seat of 'Serenissima' (Republic of Venice). Palazzo Venezia, Close to the palace, we can find Palazzetto Venezia that was reconstructed in 1882 and placed in the current location.
On the square, opposite the palace, we can observe the building of Assicurazioni Generali (insurance company) that replaced old structures.

Trevi Fountain is the most beautiful fountain in Rome. Measuring some 20 meters in width by 26 meters in height, Trevi Fountain is also the largest fountain in the city. The origins of the fountain go back to the year 19 B.C., in which period the fountain formed the end of the Aqua Virgo aqueduct. The first fountain was built during the Renaissance, under the direction of Pope Nicholas V.

Built between the 27 and the 25 BC by consul Agrippa, prefect of emperor Augustus, the Pantheon has been subject to many restorations works. After enduring well two fires, in the 80 and in the 110 AD, the temple was rebuilt as it can be seen today, from emperor Hadrian (128 AD) under whose reign of the Roman Empire reached the peak of its splendor.

Piazza Navona is one of the largest and most beautiful piazza squares in Rome with three impressive fountains, including la Fontana Dei Quattro Fiumi with its large obelisk at the center. The baroque church of Sant'Agnese in Agone provides an impressive backdrop.
