This trip is perfect for active travelers with extra time for extending trips to Bhutan for a few days. The countryside of Bhutan is untouched, the rivers are clear, the mountains are always magnificent. People are pleased with their rich history.

Travel to Bhutan, either from Kathmandu, Nepal or Dhaka Bangladesh, or Delhi, India, Singapore, Bangkok, or Calcutta, India. We’ve got a quick flight from all these areas. Every day flights are scheduled from most places here. We need to reserve these flights in advance during the peak season.

We submit for a Bhutan visa in advance and provide you with a printout before you travel to Bhutan, which airlines will ask you to travel to Bhutan.

  • Day 1: Fly to Paro,Bhutan and Drive 2 hrs to Thimpu

    Stop At: Tashichho Dzong (Thimpu Dzong), Chhagchhen Lam, Thimphu Bhutan
    After immigration and customs formalities, you are greeted and moved to Paro, where you can have lunch in a nearby tourist restaurant. Before you drive to Thimpu, which takes about 1.5hrs, take some rest in the hotel. Overnight in Thimpu hotel

    Explore the National Library, an excellent array of Buddhist manuscripts and a few English-language books; the Folk and Heritage Museum, which exhibits the everyday livelihoods of typical medieval Bhutanese farmers and their accessories; the Late King’s Memorial Stupa, designed for world peace and the Modern Handmade Paper Factory; the Painting Institute, which retains our ancient portraits, sculptures, etc. Easy evening stroll in the city of Thimpu

    Day 2: Thimpu to Paro and hike to tiger`s nest

    Stop At: Paro, Paro, Paro District
    Travel to Paro and move to the trail and continue your trek to Takstang (Tiger’s Lair) Monastery, Bhutan’s most popular sight. Your guide will hire a horse for a trip uphill to the Cafeteria, but you have to be able to walk after that. A decent trekking boot or good walking shoes is required for those who want not to go hiking to sit back with the driver and tourist around Paro.

    Tiger’s Nest: Taktshang or ‘ Tiger’s Nest, ‘ also referred to as the Taktshang Pelphung Monastery, is one of the most worshipped and prominent monasteries in Bhutan. It’s situated on the side of a 900 m mountain. An amazing and unforgettable location, but only accessible by walking or riding horse Taktshang was demolished by the people of the village of Tsento. Once in April 1998, the main frame of the building and its contents (some consider it to be arson) were destroyed by a massive fire.
