ERICEIRA is a beautiful fishing village, very close to Sintra and Mafra. Its oldest and most typical center allows visitors to walk through narrow and winding streets that date back to other times. Its connection to the sea is undeniable, even by the immense ocean that serves as a backdrop to the houses
The cliffs in Ericeira that meander along the banks of Ericeira beach, also give it a unique beauty, as do the fishermen's boats that bring the land the best and freshest fish that can be tasted in many of the restaurants in the village. Surfers, not only national but also international, look for the best waves in Ericeira, which is a world reference.
