    Stop At: Plaza de Armas del Cusco, Cusco 08002 Peru

    We will pick you up from the hotel, and start this amazing tour in a Cusco Peruvian restaurant located in the Main Square, with incredible views to the Cathedral, to taste a delight yellow Corn Cake, stuffed with meat ragout, soft mushrooms and organic sprouts. The corn is one of the most consumed food in the Andes, and is a basic ingredient used in many recipes.

    Stop At: Plaza de las Nazarenas, Cusco Peru

    After tasting this delicious Peruvian food, we will continue the tour walking through the city to appreciate churches and colonial mansions, until get a really nice restaurant to eat “Quinoto”, a quinoa-based risotto. Quinoa is widely used in Andean cuisine, being an ancestral food with many nutrients and rich in fiber.

    At the next stop, we will taste Grilled Alpaca loin. The Alpaca, who lives in the Andes, is a camelid with meat low in fat and cholesterol, as well as high in protein and iron.

    We will continue the circuit to taste the traditional Andean breads, with ancestral ingredients used to color food as the “Airampo” and “Mashua”, accompanied by a delicious jam of “Sacha Tomate”, a Peruvian fruit. Also, you will taste the Chicha de Jora, a fermented corn-based drink, and a delicious Muña tea, a plant with powerful healing properties.

    Finally, you will experience a good time preparing by your own a traditional alcoholic Peruvian cocktail well-known as Pisco Sour, based on the liquor of Pisco, lemon juice, egg white, syrup, ice and Angostura bitters. This cocktail has been invented in Lima in the early 1920s. An explosion of flavors! Then, we will back to leave you to the hotel in downtown Cusco.
