In the heart of Alka halls, in place of the old Venetian republic's Kvartiri – which were the barracks for the Croatian cavalry – now sits a magnificent collection of the Museum of the Sinjska Alka. Between the Petrovac fountain in the south and the Duke's quarters in the north lies a building complex that satisfies even the highest of museum standards. Stop At: Lake Peruca, Vrlika Croatia
A reservoir on the River Cetina, 29 km2 in area, 20 km long and 64 m deep, it holds 541 million m3 of water. The building of a 56m-high dam near the Donji Bitelić village created the reservoir, to serve the needs of the Peruča hydroelectric power station. For this purpose some villages were flooded as well as the Draganić Orthodox monastery, built in 1395 during the reign of Bosnian-Croatian King Tvrtko.
Drought of September 2003 caused the reservoir to drop to such a low level that the monastery drowned in 1959 actually rose from the water.
On Lake Peruča you can enjoy swimming, rowing, fishing. A paradise to enjoy all types of water sports, which is provided by the Garjak rowing camp

Monastery Dragović is a Serbian Orthodox monastery situated on a hill downstream the Cetina River not far from Vrlika in Croatia. When the artificial Peruća Lake was created, the original monastery sank due to land movement. The new monastery Dragović was built on a hill not far from the previous one. Serbs, settled from Bosnia, built the Dragović Monastery in 1395. It was built on the request of Bosnian King Tvrtko I Kotromanić, who significantly expanded Bosnia's borders (to their largest of the pre-Ottoman era), and it was meant to be the first Bosnian Bogomil church in newly acquired territories.
