Eastern Busan Tour : Along the Eastern Busan Coast (Starts 10:00)

Haeundae is the most developed and developing area in Busan.

Haeundae takes its name from the ninth century Shilla scholor and poet Choi Chi-won (literary name Haeun, or "Sea and Clouds"),

who according to a historical account, admired the view from the beach and built a pavilion nearby.

A piece of Choi's calligraphy, which he engraved on a rock at Haeundae, still exists.

Haeundae used to be isolated and remained undeveloped until the late 1970s and early 1980s.

After the 1988 Seoul Olympics, hotels and other tourist facilites have been constructed on the beach area have been constructed.

Today, you can watch the spectacular view of beach with loads of skyscrapers.

We will look around most of the famous sea-view points with from traditional temple to modern skyscrapers.

    Former Coastal Railway Line from Mipo to Songjeong

    The abandoned train tracks ran along the coasts, it has been one of the popular places for those who wished to admire wonderful scenery of sea of Busan.

    In Dec. 2013, the rail track was shut down and it was reopened as a promenade so that residents of Busan could walk along old tracks and enjoy the view.

    The trail track is very flat, easy to walk and become famous picturesque place in Busan .

    Dalmiji Road is a small walkway on the corner to Songjeong Beach, and boasts beautiful cherry blossoms and pine trees, which are located just beyond Haeundae Beach.

    On days with clear skies, you can see Japan's Tsushima Island from observatory.

    Oryukdo Skywalk is located in a place that is regarded as the dividing point between East Sea and South Sea.

    Iron columns were set up over a 35-meter-high coastal cliff, and a 15-meter glass bridge comprised of 24 glass plates

    and shaped like a horse's hoof connect to the iron columns.

    The bottom of the glass was specially produced with four attached glass pieces, making the structure quite safe.

    Visitors will be thrilled with the view of the waves while looking down through the transparent floor.

    The sea stretches out ahead of the skywalk, perfect for a photo taking, as well as the best spot to see Tsushima Island on sunny days.
