      Day 2: Sightseeing around Kathmandu Valley and Trek preparation (1,300m/4,265 ft)

      Stop At: Kathmandu Valley, Kathmandu Valley, Bagmati Zone, Central Region
      Today, you will have a beautiful guided sightseeing tour of Kathmandu's major UNESCO World Heritage Sites. You will visit the Hindu temple of Pashupatinath, the Boudhanath Stupa, the Swayambhunath, Tempe and the Kathmandu Durbar Square. All these destinations are brilliant sites to enjoy the ancient art, craft, and architecture. After the tour, you will be dropped back to your Hotel. Overnight stay at the Hotel in Kathmandu.

      Day 3: Fly to Lukla fro Kathmandu, 30mins and trek to Phakding (2,610m/8,563ft) 3-4 hours

      Stop At: Lukla, Lukla, Sagarmatha Zone, Eastern Region
      Early in the morning, you will be transferred to the airport for your Lukla flight. The short flight to Lukla is a highlight in itself because from the plane, you can see the changing sights of the terrain below. From Lukla, you will then begin your trekking journey to today's destination- Phakding, going through beautiful woods over a well-trodden path. Overnight stay at the guesthouse.

      Day 4: Trek from Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3,440m/11,280ft) 5-6 hours

      Stop At: Namche Bazaar, Namche Bazaar, Khumbu, Sagarmatha Zone, Eastern Region
      From Phakding, you will make your way into the Dudh Koshi River valley, through the verdant pine and cedar woodlands to reach the village of Monjo from where you enter the Sagarmatha National Park. From here, you will be trekking into the emerald forests of the Himalayan woods towards the famous Town of Namche Bazaar. The trek is a steady uphill journey and offers amazing views of the Kusum Khangkaru (6367m). Overnight stay at the guesthouse at Namche.

      Day 5: Acclimatization at Namche Bazaar (3,440m/11,286ft)

There are many things to do at Namche- you can visit the Sherpa Culture Museum of the town, and also have a quick visit to the Everest Photo gallery here. Plus, you can also hike to the Syangboche airstrip that is located above the town. Also, you could pay a visit to the Everest View Hotel- the highest located hotel in the world that boasts of views of the Mount Everest (8848m). Overnight stay at the guesthouse at Namche.

      Day 6: Trek from Namche Bazaar to Tengboche (3,860/12,664ft) 4-5 hours

      From Namche, you will make your way in a beeline towards Tengboche, another famous village of the region. Passing by ridgelines and suspension bridges over the Imja River, you will eventually reach Tengboche, also known as the spiritual hub of Khumbu. Here, you can visit the Tengboche Monastery, one of the largest monasteries in the region. You can also enjoy mesmerizing views of the Ama Dablam (6856m) from here. Overnight stay at the guesthouse at Tengboche.

      Day 7: Trek from Tengboche to Dingboche (4,410/14,469ft) 5-6 hours

      From Dingboche, you will be walking along the Imja River towards the summer valley of Dingboche- a beautiful village situated in the Imja Valley. Dingboche is quite dramatic in its location as it is situated at the foothill of the Nangkartshang Peak (5616m) and beside the Imja River. The trek is amazing and the views of mountain peaks in the Everest range are always present just over the skyline. Overnight stay at the guesthouse at Dingboche.

      Day 8: Acclimatization at Dingboche (4,410/14,469ft)

      This is another day reserved for acclimatization. Today, you can explore the village and enjoy the traditional ambiance the place offers, with its many Mani stones carved with prayers, Chortens and Prayer wheels lining the Stupas. You could relax as well, or you could also have a hike up the vantage point of the Nangkartshang (5616m) to enjoy panoramic views of the Imja Valley and the Everest ranges. Overnight stay at the guesthouse at Dingboche.

      Day 9: Trek from Dingboche to Lobuche (4,910m/16,109ft) 4-5 hours

      Stop At: Lobuche, Khumjung 56000, Nepal
      From Dingboche, you will be following the trail that winds alongside the Imja River towards Lobuche- a small settlement that is towered over by the Lobuche Peaks, from which the village also gets its name. The trek is rather moderate and you can also notice the terrain changing from greener pastures to rocky soils and snowy barren grounds. Overnight stay at the guesthouse at Lobuche.

      Day 10: Trek from Gorakshep -Everest Base Camp (5,364m/17,598ft) and back to Gorakshep (5,140m/16,864ft) 8-9 hours

      Stop At: Everest Base Camp Trail, Khumjung 56000, Nepal
      This is one of the most anticipated days of the trek. You will be trekking to the base camp of Mount Everest today. Trekking past the small sparsely populated settlement of Gorakshep, you will be heading the base camp, passing by the trail that meanders alongside the Khumbu Glacier Moraine. Once reaching the base camp, you can take in the grand moment, and enjoy your time there. You can see the Khumbu Icefall, Glacier, and many other mountains in the Everest range. After sending time at the base camp, you will return to Gorakshep. Overnight stay at Gorakshep.

      This is another most anticipated days of the trekking journey. You will wake up before dawn and make your way to Kalapatthar- the most famous vantage point of the Khumbu, to see the mesmerizing view of the entire Mount Everest massif. It is one of the most unearthly and ethereal sights in the world. After enjoy that best moment of the trek at Kalapatthar, you will make your way back to Pheriche, trekking along the same pathway. Overnight stay at the guesthouse at Pheriche.

      Day 12: Trek from Pheriche to Namche Bazaar (3,440m/11,280ft) 6-7 hours

      From Pheriche, you will trek along the familiar path back towards Namche Bazaar, taking in the beauty of the Himalayan woodlands and the towering peaks of the Sagarmatha, passing over the Imja River and crossing many suspension bridges along the way.       From Namche, you will be trekking back to Lukla, passing by Monjo and exiting the national park. The trek is downhill and is comparatively easier than before. The mountains are always there for you in the horizon, rising high and watching over your journey like ethereal natural being, albeit not being sentient. Overnight stay at Lukla.
