    Departure at 8:30

Stop At: I Trulli di Alberobello - World Heritage Site, Alberobello Italy

Alberobello is a small town famous for its unique trulli constructions and a UNESCO World Heritage site. The main quarters of the town, Rione Monti and Aia Piccola, are entirely made up of trulli lining the uphill lanes. The Trulli in the Apulian town of Alberobello are famous worldwide for their beauty and unique characteristics, and represent one of the most extraordinary examples of Italian folk architecture. Each Trullo is of a different shape and size. Unique constructions, they are sometimes combined in a complex of communicating houses, while others are built on two levels. Most of them feature a grey cone-shaped roof that ends with a sphere or hemisphere shape. The interior, arranged as a single chamber, is constituted niches for a fireplace, bed and various furniture. The structure assures excellent indoor climate control: cool in summer and warm in winter!

Stop At: Rione Aia Piccola, 70011, Alberobello Italy

We will visit the Rione Monti Monumental area: along one of the most characteristic streets that make up this neighborhood with about 1000 trulli, we will reach the highest part where the Church of Sant'Antonio is located; the church is inspired by the region's traditional environment.

    Duration: 45 minutes

Stop At: Locorotondo, Locorotondo, Province of Bari, Puglia

Locorotondo is a delightful village of whitewashed houses set on a hill-top. It is classed as one of the most beautiful villages of Italy – “Borghi più belli d’Italia.

The old circular structure of the Old Town in Locorotondo is centred around the Cathedral Church of St. George, built between 1790 and 1825. The church has an imposing structure that rises above all other buildings of the historic centre of Locorotondo. It was built on a cross plan with a 16th century Neoclassical style facade with, in the tympan, a relief depiction of St. George, the dragon and the Saints St. Peter and Paul down below. At the four corners of the first order there are four statues of female figures. The dome, once covered with terracotta tiles, is 35 meters high.

As well as its picturesque appearance the town is also known for its wine production.

Stop At: Lama Monachile, Via Comite Fanelli, 70044 Polignano a Mare Italy

Polignano a Mare, with its crystal clear sea, pebble beaches, steep cliffs and numerous caves along the coast, is one of the most beautiful and suggestive cities in Puglia, considered by some to be the “Cinque Terre” of the south.
The city is also considered as one of the most important ancient settlements in Puglia, as finds dating back to the Neolithic era have been found in this area.
The most famous place is the cove of Lama Monachile. This beach nestled among the rocks is one of the most beautiful in Puglia and this strange name was given because it was once a beach where monk seals could be seen. The beach is located right along the ancient Via Traiana, of which the ancient Roman bridge is still intact, while bathing it is possible to enter one of the many natural caves that were used as “secondary roads” to carry goods from ships to the city.
