Pass By: Murchison Falls National Park, Murchison Falls National Park, Western Region
This 1 Day Murchison Falls Safari Uganda Wildlife Tour will take you to the undoubtedly Unique World’s Most Powerful Waterfalls, found along The World’s Longest River – The Mighty Nile, with its teeming serried ranks of aquatic reptiles, mammals and birds shall spice up this tour. Come with us on this trip to confirm the extensive wild beauty located in the endless savannas coupled with large numbers of species.

Stop At: WILDLIFE ADVENTURE SAFARIS - UGANDA, Kampala-Jinja Mabira Forest, Mabira 329 Uganda
Just a 45 minute drive along the Kampala-Jinja road would get one to Mabira forest. Located within the central region of Uganda province and covering up a total land mass of 300sqkm, this forest is yet another area of significance; uniqueness. The forest is currently the second largest naturally existing forest in Uganda. Spans through districts of Mukono, Buikwe, Jinja. It has been known over the past decades for its abundance in the prominent East African Mahogany tree species; a hard wood tree species. It happens to be one of the leading forest tourist destinations with a great deal of fun activities herein. Just as the usually known forest National Parks (Bwindi Impenetrable, Mgahinga Gorilla Park and Kibale forest), this forest would also provide a similar experience as would have been experienced within the forest parks. A visit to Mabira Forest can be wound with a visit to the source of the world’s longest river, the Nile.
This forest is a true definition of a bio-diversity hotspot; this has been attributed to the composition of natural life forms it handles ranging from plants to animals and man more. Recorded from Budongo are more than 315 bird species, 200 species of indigenous trees and 40 mammal species of which 9 of these mammals are primates. Some of these species are bush-pigs, blue-duikers, red tailed monkeys, Mangabey, The 300kmsq stretch presents a land mass covered densely by a thick green blanket of high standing evergreen vegetation. Most trees herein are high standing; with growth times of hundreds and thousands of centuries. High canopies is evident in a number of the trees at the different section. This thick blanket creates an undergrowth beneath with a network of mini-streams, shrubs numerous herbaceous plants.
In Uganda, Mangabey tracking is a rare activity. However, this forest provides one with an ultimate Mangabey experience since they thrive here in large numbers.
Birding activities are so suitable here. Birding can be conducted at any time of the day with greater success of having bird sightings. In this case, the cool environment below the forest blanket keeps the birds within and below the canopies. Similarly, the great height soft h trees with high standing canopies in some sections of the forest would promote vision of the low-level flight birds. A bird watcher would love such an experience at his or her time of convenience during the day.
      Duration: 2 hours
