Day 2: SAN JOSE CITY TOUR

Stop At: San Jose, San Jose, San Jose Metro, Province of San Jose
Explore our Capital City, San Jose, with a professional guide on this Bus & Walking unique tour. You will be able to learn about our culture, architecture, customs and traditions. Touring the main Streets and Avenues, know Parque Metropolitano La Sabana, the largest park in the middle of the city where many sport activities can be practice for free now, but in the past, was the main international airport of Costa Rica. This beloved place by the Costa Ricans, houses important attractions such as The Costa Rican Art Museum and former Control Tower of the airport, The Headquarter of the Costa Rican Soccer Federation, The National Gym, The Olympic Swimming Pool, The National Stadium, a Lake and many soccer, basketball and tennis courses for the free use of the citizens.

Visit the National Teather, National Museum and enjoy a delicious lunch before to return to your hotel. Free time at leisure for explore more about this cosmopolitan city.

Day 3: IRAZU VOLCANO NATIONAL PARK

Stop At: Irazu Volcano National Park, Costa Rica
Irazú Volcano is a National Park in the Central Volcanic Conservation Area of Costa Rica. The volcano is still active although the last major eruptions were between 1963 and 1965, with occasional minor eruptions and some small lava flows since that time. With our professional tour guide you will be able to explore the park and walk to the main lookout point.
The Crater Principal lake has an unusual greenish yellow coloring caused by rainfall dissolving the minerals along the crater’s walls. It has also been known to change color to rust-red depending on the minerals present.
The national park contains both primary and secondary montane forests and is home to armadillos, owls, rabbits, foxes, woodpeckers, and hummingbirds.
After an exciting tour at the volcano, we will descend to the historical city of Cartago. Here you will visit the mysterious ruins of the old Parish and view the beautiful Basilica of our "Virgen de los Angeles" with rich displays of carvings, statues and art.

Day 4: TRANSFER TO ARENAL VOLCANO AND TOUR

Breakfast at your hotel and transfer to the beautiful Arenal Volcano area and Fortuna Town. Upon arrival, check in at Hotel San Bosco or similar. In the afternoon, tour to Arenal Volcano National Park with a professional naturalist tour guide.

Day 6: MANUEL ANTONIO NATIONAL PARK TOUR

Go on a lovely expedition with a highly trained, well-educated Costa Rican naturalist guide, that will show you the treasures living in the park. Come and enjoy the 33 year old exotic, bio-diverse tropical rainforest that Manuel Antonio National Park offers.
Your guide will show you many different species living in the park, such as sloths and numerous species of monkey’s travel through the tree canopy, playing with each other and searching for insects and tropical fruits to eat. You will also be able to see several types of reptiles resting in the tropical rainforest that you are in the middle of. While enjoying your surroundings you can listen to the songs of the various birds as they glide above your group, curiously looking for adventure.
