Guided Historical and Local Food Tour of Conwy with Tastings

This tour is a splendid mixture of history spiced up with visits to specialist food venues. Beginning outside the famous world heritage castle we'll hear about the Norman conquest of Wales then we tour the medieval streets learning it's fascinating history. We'll pop into venues such as the chocolatiers who supply Harrods, award-winning butchers, or the renowned local ice-cream maker whose family came from Italy a few generations ago.

When you get thirsty we'll visit the winner of the Best Independent Off-license in Britain or the only pub in Britain owned by a consortium of microbreweries. We'll stroll down to the quayside amidst the lobster and prawn pots learning all about Conwy mussels and their traditional harvest methods. Of course, we'll make a photo-stop at the Smallest House in Great Britain.

I'll point out the best of our local restaurants and food outlets so you can decide between fine-dining local mussels or fresh fish and chips eaten watching the boats.
