Located a mere 45 minute train ride out of Osaka is a temple where you will learn the art and science of being a samurai warrior. You will also spend the night in a large and historic but rarely visited temple that also has a sumo ring, eat three hearty meals, dip your toes into the Zen meditation discipline, and explore a village that peaked in the 18th century. No crowds, no interference. Not a single impediment between you and the making of life-long memories.
