Korea. The festival brings together crowds of people every year that enjoy
celebrating cherry blossoms and putting together performances for visitors, so it’s

The Maengbang Flower Festival is one of the landmark spring celebrations in
Korea and is held every April near Samcheok-si City in Ganwon-do Province. The
festival boasts a breathtaking view of canola flowers, cherry blossoms and the
blue sea of the East Coast. The festival also offers a diverse set of events and
programs including a local produce market, fresh strawberry picking, and
exhibition on canola flowers and bees. The Samcheok Tourist Center will also be
at the festival to help any tourists to the area visit the variety of tourist
attractions nearby such as Haesindang Park, New Millennium Ocean Road, Wife
of King Suro Park, and the filming place for “One Fine Spring Day.”

Mt.Gyeryong Cherry Blossom Festival is held every year’s early april, at a time
when cherry blossoms are at their peak. Mt.Gyeryong is distinguished from
those in other regions in that it is not about Japanese cherry blossoms but
about Wang Cherry Blossom, which is an improved version of traditional
species. With the beautiful scenery of cherry blossoms at their peak, colorful
events are arranged to entertain many people's eyes. The event will feature
various cultural and artistic performances, including opening and a closing
ceremony around Donghak temple, spring flower fashion show, samulnori,
performances at the Chungnam Yeonjeong Gugak Center in Gongju, and
pottery production. If you are looking for the right place not only to enjoy the
majestic scenery of pear blossoms in bloom but also can deepen your

East Cathedral is the first Catholic church in Gongju area built as the
Gothic architecture of the Middle Ages of the West. In 1898, a French
priest named Guinang founded Hanok Cathedral for the first time and
set the stage for full-fledged missionary work. In spring, cathedral affects
elegant and classical beauty of its majestic architectural structure and
pear blossoms all over in bloom.
