On the riverfront of Belem we can find the famous Torre de Belém.
Besides this historical landmark, we can also find in this region the one and only Pastéis de Belém. This famous pastry follows a recipe created by the monks, of the Ordem De São Jerónimo, that lived in the monastery.
Speaking about the monastery, the Mosteiro dos Jerónimos, just a few meters away, is more than just the birthplace of the delicious Pasteis de Belem. It is also a place of unmatched architecture and the resting grounds of the author Fernando Pessoa, the explorer Vasco da Gama and the poet that immortalized the portuguese expeditions, Luís de Camões.

The Praça do Comércio, bears more than 500 years of history and it’s the historical symbol of a new era in the portuguese capital.
Closeby you can see the Santa Justa elevator, which connects the downtown to the famous Largo do Carmo.
You’ll be overwhelmed by some of the gorgeous viewing points of Lisbon.
The iconic Castelo de São Jorge, the magnificent building of the Rossio train station, the Avenida da Liberdade, these are other of the ex libris of this magnificent city.

The Cristo Rei is a religious monument dedicated to the Sagrado Coração de Jesus. Resting over a 70 meter high base pedestal, the Cristo Rei blesses the city, standing tall by the Rio Tejo. This amazing monument and its unique view of Lisbon, has to be a part of your visit.
