    Another important figure in shaping Copenhagen was Christian IV. Today we call him the architect of Copenhagen because of his impact. He gives us many of the city’s famous buildings such as the round tower, Rosenborg and The Stock Exchange that you will see later in the tour.

    See this square, which was owned by an order of Franciscan monks before it was confiscated during the Danish reformation.

    Walk through Grabrodretorv, turn right onto Klosterstrade and then left onto Skindergade, turn right onto Fiolstrade, cross vor Frue Plads and cross Norregade to stand in front of the cathedral by the Reformation Monument

    Stroll down norregade, past Nytorv and Gammeltorv, see the Magstraede on the way and take pics if you wish.

    Founded in 1749 by F5, invites 4 wealthy families to live here, and have to build their own palaces. Marble church- supposed to be built out of Norwegian marble, very expensive, takes 150 years to finish, now the biggest dome in Scandinavia.
