  • Day 1: Canopy + Zip Line + kayak

    Pass By: Puerto Maldonado, Puerto Maldonado, Madre de Dios Region
    Upon arrival in the city of Puerto Maldonado, our guide and collaborators will contact you at the Airport or Bus Terminal, to take you to the city center where you can visit the exotic local and artisanal market
    Then we go to the Puerto Capitanía, where we will embark on our conditioned boat to navigate the Bajo Madre de Dios River (approximate travel time 1 hour)
    Upon arrival at the Hostel, our staff will welcome you with a refreshing drink, characteristic of our Amazon, then inform us about the infrastructure and services available to the Hostel and make the distribution in their respective bungalows.
    We will enjoy Lunch enjoying the Amazonian landscape and the Madre de Dios River.
    Later, we will cross the river by boat to be able to do Canopy and Zip Line in the immense trees that surround the areas surrounding our Lodge.
    After enjoying the Canopy platform, the guide will explain how to perform the zip line will place the necessary equipment for your safety and after the instructions you can slide along the 190 meter long zip line, at the other end you will receive the assistant to help you cross another small bridge and return for another 160 m long line shot to the starting point.
    In the afternoon we take the boat that for a period of 30 minutes that will lead us to the Monkey Island (spider monkey, cappuccino, squirrel, etc.), at least 3 to 4 species can be observed in this area, in addition to birds , mammals, rodents and other animals.
    Then we return to our hostel and at night we have a delicious and traditional dinner.
    The walks or nocturnal activities are possible every night, which will be available for the organization of the guides.

    Day 2: Sandoval Lake

    Pass By: Lago Sandoval, Tambopata National Reserve Peru
    Early and after a breakfast, we use our boat to cross the Madre de Dios River and arrive at the Control and entrance to Sandoval Lake, a Natural Area Protected by the State inside the Tambopata National Reserve.
    We begin a walk of about an hour and a half, to reach the vicinity of one of the most beautiful places in the Amazon rainforest, Lake Sandoval which shows a unique and harmonious landscape, complemented with the existing flora and fauna, in addition to housing one of the endangered species such as the Giant Otter, which with a bit of luck can be observed nearby.
    During this visit we will use a small canoe, which will help us to explore the lake, in which it is also possible to observe birds, some types of fish, turtles, etc.
    In the afternoon we have a walk through the immensity of the jungle
    We visit areas where the size of the trees will impress us with the greatness they exhibit in the middle of the Amazon rainforest.

    Day 3: ESE´EJAS NATIVE FAMILY + FISHING

    Pass By: Tambopata National Reserve, Tambopata National Reserve, Madre de Dios Region
    We will go to visit the native families of the area on the Gamitana Island, who will show us part of the cultural value of their ancestors, their language and customs, their clothes and even their dances.
    In the afternoon we will have the activity of Sport Fishing this is done in the Gamitana gorge that is located one hour from our Lodge
    We will return to our Lodge
    We will do kayaking around our hostel.

    Day 4: Parrot Colpa

    Pass By: Tambopata National Reserve, Tambopata National Reserve, Madre de Dios Region
    In the morning, we leave very early, heading to the parrot colpa where a unique spectacle awaits us.
    It is necessary to travel for an hour and a half until you reach the area where a clay wall offers the resource to hundreds of parrots, which congregate daily very early to ingest the clay present in this area, after enjoying this spectacle of the nature
    We headed to the hostel for our farewell breakfast
    Later we will take you back to the city of Puerto Maldonado, to take the flight that will take us to Cusco or Lima, whatever the case.
