    The Spassky Cathedral in the Andronikov Monastery is considered the oldest in the capital, it was painted by many legendary iconographers, including Andrei Rublev and Daniil Chernii. You can still find traces of these ornaments on the windows of this ancient cathedral.

    The first owner of this building was Tsar Ivan Bobrischev. He did not leave any heirs after his death that and this house became the property of the state. Later this house served as an office for the British diplomats, who were establishing trade relations with Moscow. In the early 1970s, the building was restored and regained its original appearance.

    This ancient monastery was built in the 1370. It was enlarged several times and was heavily fortified because it was a perfect defense point of southern approaches to Moscow.     The wall of Kitay-Gorod is the rare extant monument of the medieval Russian fortification. The fortress wall around Moscow's Kitay-Gorod was built under the leadership of the Italian engineer Petrok Maly in the 1535-1538 during the reign of Elena Glinskaya. The fortification was adjacent to the corner towers of the Moscow Kremlin — Beklemishevskaya and Arsenalnaya.

Today it is the courtyard of the Patriarch of Moscow and all Russia, where the Synodal Department for youth Affairs of the Russian Orthodox Church is also located.

    Lubyanka Square is located on a high hill, which is rounded by Solyanka – an ancient way to Vladimir and Ryazan. It is best known for the tremendous Lubyanka Building, a former headquarters of KGB, that nowadays is occupied by the Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation.

Therefore, in order to please his wife and excel in the noble society, Savva Morozov invited the renowned architect Fyodor Shechtel. The project was based on drawings of the Neo-Gothic castle in Manchester and is quite similar to the castle of Chenonceau in France.

    Finalize your day at the Suschevskaya Police Station, the oldest in the Russian capital. The young poet Vladimir Mayakovsky was arrested for revolutionary activity and kept in one of its cells. Until the first half of the XIX century from the height of its tower, you could see almost entire Moscow scenery, so it was occupied by the firefighters.
