Murchison Falls National Park 3 Day Uganda Safari

Day 1: Leave Kampala for Murchison Falls National Park – Track rhinos en-route

Stop At: Murchison Falls National Park, Murchison Falls National Park, Western Region
Your driver who doubles as a guide will pick you from the Airport, before setting off to the eminent Murchison Falls National Park. You will make your first stop at the infamous Luweero Triangle – the place where the very brutal 1980’s massacres occurred, before heading to Nakasongola at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for rhino tracking. You will spend between 1 - 2 hours tracking down the black and white rhinos. After an encounter with the rhinos, you will make your last stop before reaching Murchison Falls in Masindi.

Upon arriving at the park, you will be thrilled at the sight of seemingly stubborn baboons. You will then drive up to the top of the falls where you will enjoy a great view of the falls. It is stunningly-beautiful to watch the soothing yet aggressive waterfalls raging, squeezing through and tumbling over massive rocks before retiring to your safari lodge for dinner and other great safari outdoor adventures.

Day 2: Game drive and boat ride at the Murchison Falls National Park

Stop At: Murchison Falls National Park, Murchison Falls National Park, Western Region
You will have your breakfast before heading for a game drive through the park’s mini jungles. You will be greeted by the African sunrise stroking your body with its gentle heat. The slow drive through Murchison Falls National Park will give you chance to spot a massive number of wildlife including; giraffes, lions, buffaloes, water bucks, antelopes, elephants and even the Uganda Kob. You will be able to capture the captivating scenery of this great wildlife on your camera. The game drive will end in the early afternoon allowing you sometime to have lunch and then head out for a boat cruise.

While at the boat trip on the falls – one of the most powerful falls in the world, you will sail along the Nile enjoying a generous view of crocodiles, hippos, elephants, buffaloes, and many more animals. You will also see many water birds among which is the; Shoe bill, fish eagle and storks.

Day 3: Drive to Entebbe International Airport

After your breakfast in the early morning, you will head out on your return journey to Kampala. Your guide will drop you at a suitable location in Kampala or drive you to Entebbe airport to catch your flight. This will mark the end of your adventure Murchison Falls National Park budget safari.
