      We will stop for just a moment at the Jack Thompson Photo Gallery to take a peek back in time to see images of icons of Myrtle Beach's history that are no more.

      Our next stop will be at the South Carolina Hall of Fame where individuals past and present who have made contributions to the Palmetto State are honored. Restrooms will be available for your convenience.

      Our third stop will be at Charlie's Place Historic Site where the greatest names in 20th Century American music performed from the 1930s to the 1960s. The club itself, which had been a popular stop on what was known as the "Chitlin' Circuit," is no longer there, but Charlie's home is along with a reconstruction of his motel that was listed in THE GREEN BOOK, a guide for African-American travelers during segregation.
