8:00 a.m: Our Guide will meet you up at your hotel in Ho Chi Minh City.Then, Transfer to Long Tan Commune in Dat Do District,Ba Ria – Vung Tau Province after three-hour-drive.
11:00: Transfer to Hoa Long to visit the old battle field. We will take you to visit the following places:
1. Long Phuoc Underground Tunnel - a former wartime tunnel complex.
2. Nui Dat Base (SAS hill)- the former Australian Task Force Base (ATF) at Nui Dat - former military landmarks such as, SAS hill,” Luscombe Field “ air strip, Luscombe Bowl and the “Kangaroo South Pad” a Helicopter dust off strip and the area of Pearly gates. Then visit the Nui Dat Kindy.
3. Visit Long Tan Cross Memorial with the brief of LTC and Long Tan battle in 1966.108 members of ANZAC (Australian and New Zealand Army Corp) fighting between 1,500 and 2,500 Viet Cong forces
4. Take a look/photos Horseshoe Hill (Former Fire support Base,named Gia Quy).
13:30: Back to Ba Ria to Have lunch
15:00: Back to hotel. Trip ends.
