Perfume Pagoda - Mental Culture

The Parfum Pagoda is famous not only for its picturesque landscapes, but also for its sacredness in the religious culture of the Vietnamese people. It has a good combination of temples, pagodas, mountains and forests; in other words, a vast complex landscape with a harmony of nature and artificial construction. Crossing centuries of ups and downs, this pagoda has forged its image in the spirit and heart of the Vietnamese people, who seek peace in their souls and who believe in sacred Buddhism.
Every spring, after the Vietnamese New Year, thousands of Vietnamese pilgrims come here to pray for health and prosperity. This pagoda is built in limestone cliffs and can only be reached by boat and on foot, as there is no road in this region.
This place truly integrates all the beauty elements often used in Oriental philosophy and arts.
