  • Day 1: Arrive in Kathmandu (1,400 m)

    Welcome in Nepal! You will be welcomed at Kathmandu International airport by your private driver. You will be transferred to your hotel. In the afternoon, you will meet your trekking guide for your pre-trekking briefing where you will receive all necessary information to start your adventure into the Everest region.

    Day 2: Kathmandu flight to Lukla (40 mins), trek to Phakding (4 hours - 2610 m)

    Stop At: Lukla - Everest Base Camp Trekking Route, Chaunrikharka 56000, Nepal
    In the early morning, your adventure starts at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu. From here we take a 35-minute scenic flight to Tenzing and Hillary Airport at Lukla (2,804 m). Upon arrival, you will make the final preparations before you start your trek towards Phakding (2,610 m).

    You have some time to explore the village of Lukla while your trekking guide prepares the final logistics. We begin our trek in the Everest region by descending towards the Dudh Kosi River. Here we take the main trail to Namche Bazaar, located just above Chaunrikharka (2,713 m). After passing through the small village of Ghat (2,550 m), it is a short walk to Phakding. Todays route is a easy hike.

    Day 3: Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3840 m), Hiking duration: 5 to 6 hours

    Stop At: Namche Bazaar, Namche Bazaar, Khumbu, Sagarmatha Zone, Eastern Region
    The trail will start off relatively easy but will gradually become harder. You will be able to get your first glimpse of Everest as you are crossing the mighty Dudh Koshi River. The trail becomes more vertical and the altitude will add on as we head towards Namche, leaving one with shortness of breath. You will be making a pit stop at Namche Bazaar to stay overnight. There are facilities of shops, restaurants, hotels, a bank and internet services which enables you to get in touch with your loved ones, friends and relatives.

    Day 4: Rest day in Namche Bazaar

    Stop At: Namche Bazaar, Namche Bazaar, Khumbu, Sagarmatha Zone, Eastern Region
    Namche Bazaar is also known as the Sherpa Capital. You can use your time to acclimatize, relax and explore the surrounding places. Most of the trekkers prefer to get up before sunrise to view the magnificent views of Mount Everest, Thamserku, AmaDablam and other glorious peaks from the Sagarmatha National Park. One can get a chance to observe the shadow of the mountains being projected onto the clouds above and truly appreciate their magnitude. As an energy supplier, one should try salt-butter tea and Champa – a kind of barley often consumed by the sherpas in the region. You can also visit the Sherpa museum and photo gallery of the mountains and/or you can hike to Khumjung village (3790 m). In Khumjung, visit the Khumjung monastery to observe the Yeti scalp inside the monastery. In this beautiful village, there also is the Khumjung Hospital and school, which was funded by Sir Edmund Hillary. Overnight accommodation will be in a lodge.

    Day 5: Namche Bazar to Pangboche (3930m), Hiking duration: 6 to 7 hours

    Stop At: Panboche, Khumjung 56000, Nepal
    After having Breakfast, we will start trekking towards Pangboche. Walking will start with the old but still used, Everest Expedition Trail. The trail is a winding smooth path which offers a fantastic view of the Mount Everest (8,848 m), Thamserku (6,618 m) and AmaDablam peak (6,856 m) located exactly at the east side of Mt. Everest. The trail leads you upwards through a thick forest of rhododendron. There is a high probability of you, coinciding with the Himalayan flora & fauna. On reaching Tengboche you will see the local monastery. Inside the monastery are incredibly ornate wall hangings, a 20-foot sculpture of Buddha, and musical instruments and robes of the Lamas. From Tengboche, the trail drops to Debuche crosses another exciting suspension bridge on the Imja Khola and climbs to Pangboche village

    Day 6: Pangboche to Dingboche (4350m), Hiking duration: 3 to 4 hours

    Stop At: Dingboche, Dingboche, Eastern Region
    In the early morning, we start our trek taking us to the quaint traditional Sherpa village of Dingboche. the village offers exquisite views of Lhotse, Island Peak, and Ama Dablam. Meanwhile, during the trek, we will be taking our time so we can avoid getting affected by the altitude

    Day 7: Dingboche to Chhukung (4,710 m) & Trek Back to Dingboche, Hiking duration: 4 to 5 hours

    Stop At: Dingboche, Dingboche, Eastern Region
    We will spend a day here in order to acclimatize and adjust to the thinner air pressure. We will have a trip to Chhukung valley, via the Imja Khola valley, to get a marvelous view of the surrounding mountains, especially Lhotse’s massive south wall, before returning to Dingboche in the evening. Overnight accommodation will be in a lodge.

    Day 8: Dingboche to Lobuche (4910m), Hiking duration: 4 to 5 hours

    Stop At: Lobuche, Khumjung 56000, Nepal
    Due to the climate at this altitude, the trail that leads to Lobuche is sparse. The trail continues along the lateral moraine of the Khumbu Glacier and passes by stone memorials for climbers who have perished on nearby summits. From this high vantage point, you will be able to get an unbelievable panoramic view of the Mt. Everest. Some breathing problems may arise today due to the altitude

    Day 9: Lobuche to Everest Base Camp (5,365 m) & Back to Gorak Shep (5,180 m), Hiking duration: 8 hours

    Stop At: Mt. Everest Base Camp, kathmandu, Thamel, Tingri County 858200 China
    In the early morning, you will continue your trek all the way to Everest Base Camp at 5365 m, the closest you can get to Mt. Everest without mountaineering equipment along the Khumbu glacier. The view of the Khumbu Icefall from Base Camp is spectacular. After spending some time at Everest Base Camp, we return back to Gorak Shep for the night.

    Day 10: Gorak Shep to Kalapatthar & Trek Down to Pheriche (4371 m), Hiking duration: 7 to 8 hours

    Stop At: Pheriche - Dughlha Road, Pheriche - Dughlha Rd, Khumjung 56000, Nepal
    This will be another big and rewarding day of the trek. In the early morning, you will start climbing Mt. Kalapatthar, a small peak (by Himalayan standards) at 5555 m. The ascent is demanding but the climber gets the most magnificent mountain panorama view of Mt. Everest, the highest point on the planet at 8848 meters and other mountains such as Nuptse, Pumori, Chagatse, Lhotse and countless others. We make a quick descent to Gorak Shep and then trek down to Pheriche village.

    Day 11: Pheriche to Namche bazaar (3840 m), Hiking duration: 6 to 7 hours

    From Pheriche, we will be leaving the mountains behind us as our descent takes us through Tengboche Monastery, located at an elevation of 3,860 m before returning back to the town of Namche Bazaar. We will arrive back in Namche Bazaar in the afternoon.

    Day 12: Namche Bazaar to Lukla, Hiking duration: 6 to 7 hours

    After Breakfast, you will continue the trek through the Chumoa village, a beautiful village to have your lunch. After lunch, you will walk along the riverside to Phakding and then head towards Lukla. After a few hours of walking, you will reach Lukla. In Lukla you can relax and dip yourself into the local culture and lifestyle. On reaching Lukla, we will reflect on the time spent as a group and the personal achievements of all those who took part in the trek

    Day 13: Lukla to Kathmandu, Flight duration: 30 minutes

    Enjoy a final glimpse of the mountains you have recently visited for the last time before you set off to the airport. The flight to Kathmandu leaves before 10:00 am but take into account that it differs according to weather conditions. On arrival in Kathmandu, you will be transferred to your hotel.
