Stop At: Sighnaghi Ethnographic Park, Signagi Georgia
At around 0900 am, our professional guide shall meet you at your hotel & escort you to your vehicle. Take a drive to Sighnaghi. On the way, en route to the traditional vineyard to see how grapes are cultivated. Stop by Bobde Monastery where Saint Nino (Equal-to-apostles) is buried. We will stop for brunch at Bobde Monastery. Continue to visit Sighnaghi, the picturesque 18th Century town with pastel houses and narrow cobblestone street. Explore by foot to one of the longest survived defensive walls in the world, overlooking the vast Alazani Valley, with the view of Greater Caucasus Mountains. Visit Signaghi museum and admire the paintings of Pirosmani. Learn about the history of the 8000-year-old technology of the Georgian traditional winemaking. Wine and Chacha (Georgian grappa) tasting.
