Rock climbing outside on natural limestone cliffs is rare and very unique in this tropical rainforest environment. Just spending time in this environment that is filled with caves, trails, and rock cliffs with all of the lizards, frogs, birds and other local species is refreshing and a very real connection with nature. This park is a hidden gem in the San Juan area as most locals aren't even aware of its existence although rock climbers and mountain bikers have been visiting for decades to enjoy the wild nature.

After an orientation and gearing up at Monagas State Park, we'll do a 10 minute hike to the abundant limestone cliffs surrounding San Juan. We'll share a four-hour experience, geared for beginners or experienced climbers. Using ropes, harnesses, and other provided safety equipment, you'll have the opportunity to try numerous rock climbs. . I have more than 30 years of experience providing safe, fun, and educational experiences on cliffs and mountains around the world. You can expect to be well taken care of in this beautiful, lush, tropical environment.
