Charming town designed by Sir Oliver William Petty who was granted this area as a part of payment for mapping of Ireland. He laid out a modern town in 1670. Now Kenmare town is visited by many people because it's beauty.

Second Island is called little Skellig. Wild birds sanctuary. Over 40K nests of wild birds, mostly puffins and gannets.
