Stop At: St. Petersburg, St. Petersburg, Northwestern District
Can you describe Saint Petersburg in one word? Which word will it be? Grandeur? Gloomy? Strange? Or maybe mysterious?
The truth is that it is impossible to describe St Petersburg in one word as well as it is hard to describe this city without losing some important points. That`s why it is better to see and feel this city by yourself. And one of the greatest ways of doing this is taking a city tour. On the board of a comfortable tourist bus you will experience unforgettable emotions as you will discover more and more about the glorious city of Peter the Great. You will immerse yourself in intriguing stories and have an opportunity to take beautiful pictures of the main architectural and historical sights of the city such as Nevsky Prospect, Kazan Cathedral, the Winter Palace, Vasilyevsky Island, St. Isaac`s Cathedral, the Peter and Paul Fortress, Senate Square and Palace Square
    Krestovskiy island
Krestovsky Island is the largest of the three Kirov Islands, which stand north of the Petrograd Side in the Neva delta. It has for centuries been a popular playground for the general populace of St. Petersburg, with much of the island common ground from the beginning of the 19th century. Today it is rapidly turning into the city's smartest suburb, with an ever-increasing number of elite housing developments encroaching on the public park. However, it still attracts hordes of visitors at weekends, coming to walk through the island's rambling parkland, take advantage of the numerous sporting facilities available, or to visit the Divo Ostrov amusement park.
    Duration: 6 hours

    • Breakfast
Accommodation included: Overnight in Best-Western hotel, 4* in 1/2 TWN BB

    Day 3: Pushkin and Pavlovsk

Stop At: Pushkin, St Petersburg, Russia
For two centuries the Tsarskoye Selo was a grand imperial summer residence

The Tsarskoye Selo palace and park ensemble (the Tsarskoye Selo State Museum-Preserve) is a superb monument of world-ranking architecture and garden-and-park design dating from the eighteenth to early twentieth centuries.
The compositional centre of the ensemble is the Great Tsarskoye Selo or Catherine Palace – a splendid example of the Russian Baroque.
Tsarskoye Selo is also home to one of the finest creations of Classicism in architecture – the Alexander Palace.
More than a hundred historical monuments are scattered across the Catherine and Alexander Parks that have a joint area of 300 hectares: there are grand palaces and intimate pavilions, bridges and marble monuments, and also exotic structures imitating Gothic, Turkish and Chinese architecture.
    Duration: 3 hours

Stop At: Pavlovsk, Pavlovsk, Pushkinsky District, St. Petersburg, Northwestern District
Although Pavlovsk's Park has nothing like the architectural wealth that can be seen at Pushkin or Peterhof, it is one of the most charming and extensive green spaces in or around St. Petersburg, and one of the largest landscaped gardens in the world.
    Duration: 3 hours

    Meals included:
    • Breakfast
Accommodation included: Overnight in Best-Western hotel, 4* in 1/2 TWN BB

    Day 4: Peterhof

Stop At: Peterhof, Peterhof, Petrodvortsovy District, St. Petersburg, Northwestern District
One of St. Petersburg's most famous and popular visitor attractions, the palace and park at Peterhof (also known as Petrodvorets) are often referred to as "the Russian Versailles", although many visitors conclude that the comparison does a disservice to the grandeur and scope of this majestic estate.
Versailles was, however, the inspiration for Peter the Great's desire to build an imperial palace in the suburbs of his new city and, after an aborted attempt at Strelna, Peterhof - which means "Peter's Court" in German - became the site for the Tsar's Monplaisir Palace, and then of the original Grand Palace. The estate was equally popular with Peter's daughter, Empress Elizabeth, who ordered the expansion of the Grand Palace and greatly extended the park and the famous system of fountains, including the truly spectacular Grand Cascade.
The Upper Garden, placed on the terrace in front of the south facade of the Grand Peterhof Palace, is perceived today, foremost, as a grand entrance to the imperial residence. It is a peculiar green vestibule under the open sky - harmonious, bright and spacious. Its layout has been executed according to the sketches of Peter I himself, and changed only slightly over the time.

    Duration: 3 minutes

Stop At: Aleksandria Historical Park, Razvodnaya, 2, Peterhof, St. Petersburg 198516 Russia
Alexandria Park is named after its first owner - Empress Alexandra Feodorovna, wife of Nicholas I. The sun, flowers, shady groves of old oaks, the "music of water" streams, expanses of meadows - all this is Alexandria - a family nest of four generations of the Romanov dynasty.
