who will reveal to you the secret that hides the "Veiled Christ" and the dark mysteries of the Black Prince, linked to the "Arcana Arcanorum" and the philosopher's stone. Naples has always been considered a place steeped in alchemical mysteries orbiting the most exhilarating and shocking character of the 1700s: the seventh Prince of Sansevero, Raimondo De Sangro, who still fears fear in those who hear him mentioned. An evil alchemist who kidnapped desperate poor people whose bodies were to be used for his foul experiments. Just this? Not at all! The "Camera Caritatis", a place where you can move from a corporeal dimension to an unknown, a parallel world never explored. The Alchemical Door from which no one has ever returned to tell it .. Where exactly is this portal? We will try to discover it together through our path that will take us from the origins of the church of Santa Maria della Pietatella and will continue up to the current "Sansevero Chapel." We will see extraordinary things, however you want to consider them.
Entering the first impression is that of being in a rectangular baroque church, full of friezes and paintings. Surrounded by the wonderful Virtues, maximum examples of sculptural art, we will know the Masonic symbolism hidden behind every single work, we will discover the mystery that surrounds the Prince's tomb and its hidden messages, completing with the Veiled Christ, miraculous work of Sammartino. We will go again to visit the anatomical machines and we will know their secrets still studied by the scientific community. Our tour will continue on Via dei Tribunali, to visit, near the Pietrasanta church, the Pontano Chapel (1492) commissioned by the famous humanist Giovanni Pontano, at the time secretary of Ferdinand I of Aragon and unanimously considered an alchemical master. Pontano had the chapel built in perpetual memory of his wife Adriana Sassone who died in 1490. We will show you the magical phenomenon concerning the sun which touches a particular architectural element of the chapel at the summer solstice. Furthermore, the numerological secret linked to it where for the first time our experts will reveal the alchemical-esoteric meanings of its structure and gravestones.
We will conclude our "initiatory" journey with a toast at the laboratory of the ancient esoteric liqueur "Limoncello".
