  • Day 1: Edinburgh - Inverness

    We tell you the whole story of the famous battle of Stirling Bridge from the same place where William Wallace spotted the English army and planned his strategy.

    We make a small stop to gather strength and what better way to do it than to have a coffee in front of the rapids of Dochart, a charming place.
    Duration: 30 minutes

    Stop At: Glencoe, Glencoe, Scottish Highlands, Scotland
    Photographic stop to admire the most famous and imposing valley in Scotland and to know the cruel episode that the MacDonald clan suffered.

    But before arriving here, we will cross the most uninhabited wasteland in Europe

    We are now heading to the second largest urban core in the Highlands for lunch. We will have free time to taste Scottish gastronomy.

    Fort William is located at the foot of Ben Nevis, the highest mountain in the whole of the United Kingdom, and attracts many hikers and climbers.

    Stop At: Fort Augustus, Fort Augustus, Loch Ness Region, Scottish Highlands, Scotland
    We reach the southern shore of Loch Ness where the town of Fort Augustus is located. This town is home to two emblematic attractions for tourists: the famous Loch Ness sign where we will have the opportunity to get the photo chased by every visitor; and the lock system that runs through the town and built in 1822 by Thomas Telford.

    After leaving Fort Augustus, we will travel the 37 km that the lake has to reach Inverness. However, we will make a stop next to the Uquhart castle where we will have the opportunity to contemplate its ruins and take the perfect photo.

    We arrive at the capital of the Highlands where we will have the afternoon-free night to walk its streets, know its culture and its people. It will be here where we spend the night

    Day 2: Inverness - Edinburgh

    Stop At: Blair Athol Distillery, Perth Road, Pitlochry PH16 5LY Scotland
    After a good night's rest and a good Scottish breakfast, we set off for the Blair Athol distillery, traversing the Highlands backbone. This distillery has been producing whiskey since 1798.

    Here we will know the culture and history of whiskey and we will have the opportunity to taste it.

    The visit is free although there is the possibility of paying to enter to see the fermentation and distillation rooms.

    Stop At: The Hermitage Woodland Walk, Just off A9 at Dunkeld, Dunkeld Scotland
    We enter the Hermit Forest to breathe fresh air and gaze at the tallest trees in the UK. We will stroll along the Braan River to finish discovering a wonderful waterfall.
    Duration: 45 minutes

    Stop At: Dunkeld, Dunkeld, Perth and Kinross, Scotland
    Dunkeld is one of the most charming towns in Scotland that became capital in the 9th century. It was also objective in the Jacobite wars and was destroyed by fire. Today, its greatest attraction is the ruins of its cathedral.

    Stop At: St. Andrews, St. Andrews, Fife, Scotland
    Named after the Scottish patron, this town is the most important in all of Scotland due to its historical burden, its culture and its people. St Andrews houses the third oldest Anglo-Saxon university in the world where Prince William began his love story with Kate.

    It was also here that one of the most important movements in Scotland took place: the Protestant Reformation led by Knox.

    In addition, St Andrews is the birthplace of golf. Thousands of golfers travel here to play on the Old Course.

    Stop At: South Queensferry, South Queensferry, Edinburgh, Scotland
    Before arriving in Edinburgh, we stop at this little town to admire three masterpieces of engineering: the Forth Bridges. But above all, we will look at an icon of the country: the railway bridge. Opened in 1890, today it is a world heritage by Unesco.
