Scottish Church History, Reformation And Presbyterian Heritage Tour
Led by Bible believing Scottish Christians, we will guide you through Edinburgh's Old Town visiting locations of significance to Scotland's Reformation, the Covenanters and Presbyterian history. We will stop at locations and hear the stories of the people and the events of this period
We are a non-profit ministry of the Reformed Presbyterian Church of Scotland.
Any funds remaining after direct costs are paid, are used to facilitate church planting in Scotland.
Our tours are not merely sight-seeing arrangements. Our goal is to encourage you in your Christian faith, and to point out how and where the people and places you learn about honoured Jesus Christ in everything they did and how you can do the same today.
Our tour guides are Bible-believing Christians who care deeply about helping to build up your faith.
We are also happy to add in any other location you would like to visit within a reasonable distance.

Stop At: St Giles' Cathedral, High Street Historic Royal Mile, Edinburgh EH1 1RE Scotland
We begin near the Cathedral with an overview of Scotland's Church history and hear about the history of the building focusing on it's connection to the Reformation and the Covenanters. We will visit the grave of the great Reformer John Knox nearby and hear about his life and legacy.
Duration: 30 minutes
Stop At: 21 Grassmarket Old Town, Edinburgh EH1 2HS Scotland
The Grassmarket was the place of public executions in Edinburgh and the place where many martyrs died for their faith. Hear their story.
Duration: 20 minutes
Stop At: Greyfriars Kirkyard, Candlemaker Row, Edinburgh EH1 2QQ Scotland
There are many stops within the Kirkyard that is relevant to Scotland's Church history and in particularly the Reformation and Covenanters. We will stop at several locations to hear many stories.
Duration: 1 hour
Stop At: Magdalen Chapel, Magdalene Chapel 41 Cowgate, Edinburgh EH1 1JR Scotland
We will visit one of Edinburgh's oldest buildings which is rich in Reformation history.
Duration: 20 minutes
Stop At: National Museum of Scotland, Chambers Street, Edinburgh EH1 1JF Scotland
We will visit the Reformation section of the museum to see artefacts that are relevant to that period. We will also hear some heartbreaking but inspirational accounts of several martyrs.
Duration: 30 minutes
Stop At: St Giles' Cathedral, High Street Historic Royal Mile, Edinburgh EH1 1RE Scotland
We will finish back outside St Giles, this time at the Mercat Cross where we will hear more accounts of individuals and recap the history we learnt.
