Hi, my name is Mags and I am professional chef with years of experience across award winning restaurants in Edinburgh. Cooking and sharing knowledge with other people is my hobby and passion, it's my lifestyle. I cooked my first meal when I was 7 years old :)
My partner and I cannot wait to meet you and spend magical culinary evening at our beautiful apartment.
You will have opportunity to see me at work and if you wish you could give me some hand in open space kitchen :)

- Situated in Edinburgh’s historic Georgian New Town, this experience gives you the opportunity to witness something truly special: a professional chef at work in their own kitchen! Relax in Rita and Mags’ elegant apartment, while you are served a delicious tasting menu of perfectly portioned 8 courses inspired by traditional Scottish cuisine, each with a unique European twist. Expect an evening full of amazing food and good company, in an intimate celebration of the dining experience!
If you choose our dining experience at the Chef’s home then you will be eating and
relaxing along with up to eight other people. Mags and Rita’s cosy home is the perfect place to meet other diners, exchange stories and come together in a celebration of fine cuisine! In order to retain that intimate feel, our current limit per dinner is eight people.
Glass of white wine or red wine is included.

• Amuse Bouche - creamy onion soup, parmesan froth, soda bread croutons
• Seared Wild Highland Venison - served with plum & chestnut jus, butter, thyme & garlic roasted cauliflower flowers, sautéed wild mushrooms, smoked sausage, honey glazed carrots.
• Isle of Islay Scallops - served with garlic sautéed artichoke, bergamot salmoriglio sauce, velvety celeriac puree, fried morcilla, wasabi espuma, pancetta crisp.
• Findlays of Portobello Haggis - served with butter sautéed rutabaga & carrot ribbons, potato mousseline, red berry jus, potato & parsnip crisp, horseradish mayo.
• Pea and Mint Risotto - served with scallions, parmesan espuma, parmesan crisp.
• Mag’s New Town Apple Crumble - wild berries, winter spices, crème anglaise, pistachio ice cream.
