Romanesque and Italian Gothic architecture, the religious center with the cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta, the baptistry and the panoramic museum including masterpieces by Donatello and Duccio di Buoninsegna. The famous political center with the red brick, shell shape Campo Square, the majestic Municipal Palace and the famous 250ft clock tower , the so called Torre del Mangia.

With the nickname of "Medieval Manhattan" this is probably the most authentically preserved medieval hamlet in Europe. 10th century basilica, important art cycles, naves ,frescoes and chapels other than gorgeous medieval walkways and architecture. The picture is completed by 14 ancient towers still standing out of the original 72 that offer you that stunning skyline that this town is by now very famous for.

Road 222, the so called chianti way. Runs from Florence to Siena and is entirely outlined by rolling green hills, vineyards ,olive groves and cypress trees. 65 km long and approx 25 km wide, full of small villages and over 500 wine producers. Chianti classico, Supertuscan and extra vergin olive oil are surely the treasures of this valley.
