Sofia Morning Walking Tour with Traditional Bulgarian Breakfast Tasting

    This walking tour starts from the emblematic building of Sofia University, the first university to be constructed in the capital after the Liberation. Strolling around the charming little streets behind the university, you will learn to recognize the different architectural styles that are embedded in the buildings around you – from gorgeous royal palaces to communist's monumental ensembles. The whole neighborhood is considered one of the most beautiful in Sofia and a gathering place for the 20th-century Bulgarian aristocracy. Your guide will lead you to a local spot where you will have the chance to try the most typical Bulgarian pastry - banitsa. Learn more about our culinary traditions there and try some of our iconic drinks and specialties.

    Following this journey through tastes, your tour leader will reveal not only the main sites in the area but also Sofia’s well-kept secrets and places. Get lost in one of the oldest streets in Sofia still teeming with local stories, nostalgy, and romanticism.
