Split guided city tour for small groups

      Stop At: Split, Split, Split-Dalmatia County, Dalmatia

      Your guide will meet you at the agreed meeting point and begin the tour on the southern side of the Roman Imperial Palace, at the beginning of the promenade ("Riva").

      Duration: 15 minutes

      Stop At: The Peristyle of Diocletian's Palace, Dioklecijanova Ulica, Split 21000 Croatia

      Through the southern gate we will enter into the public part of the "Diocletian's Cellar" - all the way to the peristyle square - the center of the old town and the UNESCO World Heritage Site.

      Duration: 30 minutes

      Stop At: The Golden Gate, Ul. Kralja Tomislava, Split 21000 Croatia

      Then we will continue to the northern gate of the palace. It was once the main entrance into the palace. Its popular name "Golden Gate" (Porta Aurea) has become common. From here the palace was connected by road with the city of Salona and the rest of the world.

      Stop At: Grgur Ninski Statue, Ulica Kralja Tomislava 12, Split 21000 Croatia

      Outside the palace, in front of the northern gate is the monumental bronze statue of Gregory of Nin (Grgur Ninski).
      The statue was created by artist Ivan Mestrović in 1929 stood originally in the peristyle square.

      Stop At: Pjaca, Narodni trg, Split 21000 Croatia

      Through picturesque alleys we continue our walk to the main square of the city of Split - the Pjaca. Here is a complex of palaces and a Romanesque tower with a clock built in the fifteenth century.

      Stop At: Fruit Square, Trg Braće Radić 5, 21000, Split, Croatia

      Via the "Fruitmarket" we return back to the promenade - "Riva".

      Duration: 5 minutes

      Stop At: Riva Harbor, Riva Promenade, Split 21000 Croatia

      Back at the promenade our city tour ends.
