    Stop At: Jinvali Water Reservoir, 40 km to the North from Tbilisi, Tbilisi Georgia

    Jinvali is one of the biggest water dam and water reservoir in Georgia which was built during USSR in 1985, annual power generation 484 million kWh per year. People call it Jivnali lake, but it has many secrets behind it. Jinvali water reservoir has breathtaking beauty as its located between mountains, water surface has unbelievably beautiful ocean-turquoise color.

    Stop At: Ananuri Fortified Castle Ensemble, Georgian Military Highway Near Zhinvali Reservoir, Ananuri 1803 Georgia

    Ananuri Fortress is one of the best preserved historical-cultural monuments, its surrounded with magnificent nature, mountains covered with forest of different varieties of trees, here begins beautiful Jinvali water reservoir. Awesome place for memorable photos. Ananuri Fortress was found in XVI-XVII centuries and served as the main stronghold for the Aragvian Eristaves, the rulers of this region. During the attacks, Fortress was protecting local residents and the population of the central parts of the country during their retreat to the mountains. On the territory of the citadel there is a tower with a pyramidal roof, which existed before the construction of the fortress, the Church of the Assumption 1689. Preserved traces of the pool and bath. Lower fortification, only a single-nave church dated by XVI-XVII century with a bell tower was preserved etc.

    People’s Friendship Arch was built in 1983 and its inspiration of famous sculptor Zurab Tsereteli, it is built at an altitude of 2384 meters above sea level. Arch view point has breathtaking scene of valley, sky and mountains. Here you can feel the freedom in one word.

    Stop At: Gergeti Trinity Church, Near the Village of Gergeti, Stepantsminda Georgia

    Gergeti Trinity Church – on the slope of the majestic Mount Kazbek, among the snow-covered ridges, is the old Gergeti Trinity Church dated by XIV century. It is located at an altitude of 2170 meters. It has breathtaking views to Gergeti village and Stefantsminda.

    Stefantsminda (ex. Kazbegi) town is located on altitude of 1750 meters between mountains and facing towards Kazbek mount, one of the highest mountains in Georgia 5047 meters above the sea level.

    Jvari pass – Cross pass is located on altitude of 2395 meters above sea level. Cross, indicating the point of pass and its one of the highest mountain roads in Caucasia.
