Surf Lesson at Playa Encuentro

This tour will take you to the number one surf beach on the North Coast: Playa Encuentro. If you are an experienced surfer or new-comer, you will have a great time with the surf professionals. You will be driven in a safari style vehicle from Puerto Plata to Cabarete for approximately 35 minutes, where the surf team will be awaiting you at the beach. On this beach it’s just surfers, lots of surfboards, a lifeguard tower, waves and a small Caribbean style bar, situated far from big buildings and city life. If you are a first timer, the surf pros will give you a briefing, theory lessons and in-water guidance to get your wave ride experiences. If you have previous surfing experience and knowledge, you and instructors will analyze the conditions and pick out the board for your experience level. You will spend three hours at Playa Encuentro before the return trip to Puerto Plata.
