Taste of Scotland Tour

For those who only have one day to visit Aberdeen, this tour gives you an insight into what the region has to offer in a 7 hour tour. With both a visit to Castles and Distillery Tour, this excursion will give you a taste of the Grampian and our local food giving you every excuse to come back again!

On Thursday's we will substitute Pitmedden Gardens for Tolquhon, as the castle it no longer open on this day. As both are close together we can view the castle from the outside.

    This tour with give you a taste of Scotland by starting the visit at Glengarioch Distillery for a tour to learn about the art of creating a perfect single malt whisky ending with a tasting of our local liquid gold.

    We continue our travels to Tolquhon Castle, although now a ruin, it is a playground with stairs and rooms to discover as you go around and explore. Part of Historic Environment Scotland, you'll delve into the history of one of the castles which rose to great heights in the late 1500's only to be ruined by an unlucky investment.

    Stop At: Castle Fraser Garden & Estate, Sauchen AB51 7LD Scotland

    Castle Fraser is the next stop on the tour- go back in time when you roam around the Castle and enjoy the splendid gardens. Castle Fraser has enjoyed some colourful lairds in its history and is one of the very few estates which was run by a Lady Laird, Ms Eliza Fraser.
