  • Day 1: Welcome to Tanzania

    Pass By: Arusha, Arusha, Arusha Region
    You will be met at the International Airport of Kilimanjaro by our representative. We will take you to the Hotel. This charming country home is situated in the foothills of Mt. Meru in a lush green surrounding. Our safari manager will come to meet you and to provide you with a safari briefing. A wonderful home-cooked dinner will be served on the spot – either in the dining room or the terrace overlooking the beautiful gardens.

    Day 2: Visit Ngorongoro National Park

    Stop At: Ngorongoro Crater, Ngorongoro Conservation Area Tanzania
    After leisurely breakfast you travel towards Ngorongoro Conservation Area home of the world famous Ngorongoro Crater. It is the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera and a natural sanctuary for some of Africa’s densest animal populations and one of the few places where the rare black rhino can be observed in its natural habitat.

    Day 3: Drive to Ndutu Area

    Stop At: Ndutu Lake, Ngorongoro Conservation Area Tanzania
    After breakfast you start on your way to Ndutu. After stopping for your picnic lunch will continue with our game drive. The Great Migration is a perpetual movement of over 1.5 million of wildebeest, zebra, antelope and other migratory wildlife in search of fresh food and water. From January to February, Ndutu is expected have a dense concentration of migratory herds from as it hosts the highly anticipated calving season. With the gathering of the Great Migration along with thousands of baby calves born every day, predators such as lion, cheetah, leopard, and hyena will also follow in a desperate fight for survival. Be alert for the striped hyena, a rare carnivore which prefers the Ndutu area and often spotted at dusk or dawn.

    Day 4: Full day game tour

    Stop At: Ndutu Lake, Ngorongoro Conservation Area Tanzania
    There are two beautiful sodic lakes in the vicinity. Being in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area (NCA) you will be able to drive off road - a great advantage for getting close up to Africa's large mammals! This area is also the traditional birthing ground for the wildebeest,

    Day 5: Drive to Serengeti

    Pass By: Serengeti National Park, Serengeti National Park
    We'll begin the day with the scenic drive towards the Serengeti. Along the way we'll pass through the mist-shrouded rainforests of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area where you might be lucky enough to glimpse cape buffalo, baboons, or even elephants and leopards in the dense undergrowth.

    Day 6: Exploring the Serengeti plain

    Pass By: Serengeti National Park, Serengeti National Park
    We start your day early by getting up before dawn to embark on a sunrise game drive. Accompanied by the melodic singing of the birds, you'll spend your morning searching for leopards and lions hunting for their morning meal and spying the contrastingly calm hippos returning to their watery homes with their families.

    Day 7: Drive back to Arusha

    Pass By: Arusha, Arusha, Arusha Region
    Drive back to Arusha. Upon pick-up, make an optional stop at a local shop with an abundance of wood carvings, artifacts, paintings and crafts. Afterwards, rest at a day room and enjoy a farewell lunch in Arusha before leaving for your departure at Kilimanjaro Airport.
